Ms. Perales is bilingual in English/Spanish. While attending law school, Ms. Perales worked full-time as a Paralegal. During law school, Ms. Perales was selected for Law Review and Moot Court Honors and was  elected by her peers as the Vice President of the Student Bar Association. 

Since being admitted to practice law, Ms. Perales has devoted her time to representing employees. Ms. Perales is licensed to practice in the State of California and the United States District Court, Central District of California. She is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the Hispanic Bar Association of Orange County, and the California Lawyers Association.

Outside her legal work, Ms. Perales is active in charity organizations through Star Wars costuming groups volunteering with her family at hospitals and community events to bring smiles to children.
